About The 2018 AEP Solar Rebate Program
Texas residents in the AEP service territory can receive an incentive worth up to $7,000 dollars to install a qualifying solar energy system on a home, and non-residential customers are eligible for an incentive up to $63,750 dollars! Electricity customers who receive electric delivery service from AEP Texas Central Company (AEP TCC) and AEP Texas North Company (AEP TNC) are eligible to participate in this solar rebate program. The color coded map below shows the AEP TCC and AEP TNC service areas.

Incentive funding is offered to eligible customers with complete applications on a first-come, first-served basis.
At the time of writing, the funds for residential programs have been total reserved for 2018 installations.
However, there is a chance that you can get on a wait-list to receive the residential solar rebate for next year (2019). For non-residential customers, rebates are still available in both AEP Texas Central and AEP Texas North service areas.
